Saturday 12th March
Dear Mr. Khanjani,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Mrs Ashraf Khanjani’s passing.
Please accept my deepest condolences and prayers for you, for your
family and for your friends at this very sad time.
The sacrifices you, the rest of the Yaran and all your families have
made not just for the Bahai Faith but also for the unity of humankind
and the courage and determination you all show in the face of
continual persecution and adversity is overwhelmingly inspiring and
gives many hope and faith.
Even though it may seem a dream far off in the distance, one day in
the future, Baha’u’llah’s vision of a humanity unified in peace and
full of compassion for each other and Mother Earth, will be realised.
I hope to live to see the day where the vision is realised and will
take the time to acknowledge and reflect upon all the sacrifices which
were made by all the most incredible individuals who progressed this
vision across the centuries.
One thing I want to leave you with in this letter more than anything
else is to ask you to never give up hope or faith because I will never
give up praying for you and the Yaran and I am sure neither will any
of the millions of other Bahais who dearly wish to see you all
released and in safety.
You will forever remain in my prayers and thoughts.
With all the love and peace in the world,
