Thanks for your observation. But how is it then that all trigger events (both sound and motion of the same time events) still appear on the event list? For me, all triggered events are on the event list but there is no alert.
One way is to set the dynamic link to reference the custom state. Have it default to an mp3 that plays a blank sound (i.e., no sound, but still an mp3). Then, when someone say, clicks a button, change that custom state to the link of the mp3 you want to play.
Hello! I know grafana doesnt support sound alerts, I saw an script here in the forum, but doesnt work for me in the 9 lastest version of grafana.
Does any here knows any 3rd party app to make it work?
We have a tv with our panels but not always are looking at the screen, so we need a simple sound for the alerts so we can check what its happening.

Intermittently, my iphone 7 (ios 13.5.1) will not make the normal text tone/ sound when I receive a text. I will receive the notification on my watch and my phone will receive the text, but the phone won't make the sound or vibrate.
This does not happen every time and doesn't appear to be related to one specific sender or contact. I've been sitting at my desk with my phone right next to me and will receive a text but the phone will not make a sound/ alert tone. Then when I ask that sender to try again, the sound/ alert tone will work.
Some research says "this is the way it's supposed to be"- meaning. No sound on iPhone when connected to a bluetooth device- watch, headset etc- since you would want that device to take over the task of alerting you to notifications.

Yes, my default sound output device is the computer speakers. If I test the sound in JTAlert, I get the "test 123" female voice, Which is what I installed. I just don't get any sounds or alerts when operating the program even though I have sound set to ON. I also notice that when I look in the JTAlert sound text file, I don't see the text
"[Sounds]
The annoying thing is that the default alert "beep" sounds every time it fires. I've changed the settings in the terminal to untick "Terminal bell", but I still get the sound. I don't want to disable sound completely, or even to cancel all alerts, I just want this job (or its hosting terminal) to be literally quiet.

In the Sound dialog box, you can select an item from the Program Events list to change the sound associated with the event. To never play a sound for that event, regardless of your other Windows sound settings, use the Sounds dropdown box and choose (None) from the very top of the list.
