I will sit down sometime this week (or during my upcoming 6 hour road
trip down to Brownsville with Tank) to write down things that I will
change with my diet, things that I will add to be a little bit more
active and things that will keep me motivated.
I know last NAF competition (where I placed in a heart-breaking second
place), I gave up tortillas and soda.
What are some things that the rest of you will do get started for NAF
Fall 2009?

Gotta run...ok, more like a slow walk!

This competition couldn't have come at a better time for me. My wife
is 3,000kms away and I just moved to Toronto (Canada) a month ago. I'm
living in suburbia with her aging aunt & uncle and found that if I
wasn't doing some form of exercise daily, I would start to slowly and
painfully lose my mind. Also my 3 brothers-in-law did a try-a-
triathlon this summer and the whole family will be doing one next
July. So here's the schedule I've been trying to stick to exercise-
wise:
Monday: 30min treadmill walk/run + weights (chest + triceps)
Tuesday: swim 1,000m in the morning, play squash in the afternoon
Wednesday: 30 min treadmill walk/run + weights (back + biceps)
Thursday: swim 1,000m in the morning, bike 10km in the afernoon
Friday: squash followed by 20min on the treadmill
Saturday: weights (legs + shoulders) + some form of cardio
Sunday: Are you kidding me?? REST DAY!!

As for the food end, I've been really bad with not eating breakfast so
I'm going to make more of an effort to have some sort of grain in the
morning and have healthy and well-spaced snacks throughout the day. As
for giving up foods... giving up the tasty poofy cake in the cafeteria
at work that I've been helping myself to every 2nd day.

Ok, bedtime now so I can get up at 5am to go swimming tomorrow.

Is someone going to make like a weight loss spreadsheet or something?
I can do it if need be. I love spreadsheets (implied sarcasm).

I have one from last year on google but it's unsatisfactory for this
many people.

Using google spreadsheets let's us have it published online right away.

I can handle it unless you really want to :-)
