BorutoNaruto Next Generations received a mixed reception when it was first announced. The series was revealed to be the continuation of Naruto, and the fans didn't know how to feel about the news. The anime had a shaky start, but the quality gradually improved.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generation has its pros, which helped the series to gain new fans. However, many viewers who have watched Naruto are dissatisfied with Boruto and consider it to be insulting to the original series. Here are ten things that annoyed the fans of the series.

Jiraiya was an integral part of Naruto's life. He taught Naruto a lot of things about being a ninja, which turned Naruto into the person that he is right now. Jiraiya's life came to an end when he infiltrated the Hidden Rain to find more information about Pain.

Jiraiya died as a proud warrior, entrusting his dreams to Naruto. He wasn't brought back in the Fourth Great Ninja War, which made his death important. However, for some odd reason, Ikemoto decided to bring back Jiraiya's clone in Boruto. The clone was Kashin Koji. This raises the question then why wasn't he brought back during the Fourth Great Ninja War if it was possible.

Naruto is heralded as the strongest ninja of all time. He is adored by all the people in the Hidden Leaf. After the Fourth Great Ninja War, Naruto achieved the status of "Hero." However, his son, Boruto Uzumaki, dragged his name through the mud.

During the Chunin Exams, Boruto used the scientific ninja tool. He intended to pass the exams to look cool in his father's eyes. But, Naruto noticed Boruto cheating and disqualified him from the exams. The crowd was awestruck as they couldn't believe that the Hokage's son would do try to cheat during the exams.

The new generation of ninjas is filled with unique personalities. The fans who have watched Naruto can easily see that some new generation ninjas bear a heavy resemblance to older ones. For instance, Shikamaru's son, Shikadai is the spitting of him.

There is absolutely no difference between the two of them. Both of them are procrastinators and possess brilliant minds. Also, Rock Lee and Metal Lee have a lot in common. The hairstyle, way of dressing and mainly using taijutsu.

One of the most controversial things that Kishimoto did was to kill Madara Uchiha and make Kaguya Otsutsuki the final villain instead. This decision didn't go down too well with the fans for the right reasons.

Many fans believed that the Otsutsuki Clan would no longer have a part to play in the sequel. However, Boruto is flooded with Otsutsuki clan members. There are way too many Otsutsuki clan members and the number will only continue to increase further. The series about ninjas is now focused on members of an alien clan.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is set in the future and there's advanced ninja technology everywhere. The fans have no problem with the scientific advancements. The problem lies in trying too hard to make the series look like sci-fi. For instance, the part about Otsutsuki clan members making backups.

It is also mentioned that an Otsutsuki's Karma overwrites the data of a person. There is the Otsutsuki update feature as well. The language that is used is infuriating to many fans and clearly comes off as the mangaka putting a lot of effort into making the series seem like a sci-fi.

Shino used to these insects very effectively in Naruto. In Boruto, it was revealed that Shino had ended up as an instructor at the Academy. In comparison Iruka, Ebisu, etcetera. were the instructors at the Academy in Naruto. A perfectly fine character ruined for nothing.

Naruto always dreamt of achieving peace throughout the entire world. He made a lot of sacrifices in order to achieve his goal. In Boruto, it is clear that Naruto didn't fully manage to accomplish his dreams.

There are still a lot of people who are ready to destroy the world. In the very first episode of the anime, the Hidden Leaf was in complete ruins, which obviously hints that there is going to be chaos in the future.

Konohamaru Sarutobi is the grandson of Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage of the Hidden Leaf. Konohamaru is a jonin and the leader of Team 7. Despite his role as the leader of Team 7, Konohamaru is yet to get involved properly in the series.

He flopped massively in the Ao arc; Kashin Koji beat him very easily. Konohamaru was saved by his students in that arc. The Ao arc has been his highlight so far, which is disgraceful for a character of his merit. In Naruto, at least Konohamaru managed to take out one of the bodies of Pain with his Rasengan.

This is the biggest mystery in Boruto so far. In the pilot for the anime, it was shown that the Hidden Leaf was destroyed. Kawaki told Boruto that he would send the latter to the same place as the Seventh Hokage.

Normally, it wouldn't have been an issue, but with destroyed Leaf in the background, it is easy to presume that Naruto is very likely dead. It's infuriating for the fans to watch their childhood hero being killed in the sequel.

For most of Naruto, Orochimaru was one of the bad guys. Orochimaru killed the Third Hokage, performed inhumane experiments, and murdered the Fourth Kazekage. He manipulated Sasuke into abandoning the Hidden Leaf.

In episode 48, Konoha will start with the preparations for the annual exam. The timing is just right to talk about the Chunin exams as the Leaf Village has already eliminated the threat of the Byakuya Gang.

According to the latest plot details for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 48, the Leaf Village is moving on from the menace that is the Byakuya Gang. At this point, the ninjas are expected to prepare for the upcoming Chunin exams, although that is not yet expected to happen right away. It appears that there will be a few more episodes leading to the much-awaited moment in the show. Still, this is a good sign that the anime series is now heading towards the Chunin exams, after all the filler arcs that were featured earlier.

The preview for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 48 shows that the teams are now thinking about the Chunin exams, with Iwabe, Metal Lee and Denki fighting over the referral from their Jounin leader. Unfortunately for all of them, they have displayed such a dismal performance during the confrontation with the Byakuya Gang. Specifically, the team has shown their carelessness in dealing with such threat, ultimately resulting to injuries.

Comic Book stated that "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" is inevitably approaching the same timeline in the "Boruto" fil, which also featured the Chunin exams. In this particular storyline, Boruto will be seen cheating during the examinations. However, some fans argue that Naruto's eldest child has no reason to cheat, considering that he has already learned a bunch of ninja techniques so far in the anime series. Nevertheless, more questions will be answered as the show heads towards the Chunin exams arc.
