Dear officer trainees of the Orientation Programme,
 
A very good evening.
 
Unexpectedly I am getting relieved today. So I am taking this opportunity to wish you all Good Bye.
It was a pleasure being associated with your training programme and earnestly wish this association to go beyond the confines of the Academy. These past few weeks had been immensely enriching both professionally and personally and I thank you all for the same. Each and every interaction with the batch had been memorable for me. Thankyou for the love, adoration , respect received from you ( and I am sure there must have been ocassional instances of hatred, anger also), but I thoroughly enjoyed the entire spectrum of emotions displayed by you.
 
A big thanks for making me proud as your Course Director by exhibiting unmatchable spirit, enthusiasm, camaraderie , team spirit , which was impossible to be unnoticed by anyone in the Academy. Not to forget the stellar performancer put up by you as part of the cultural evening. Wishing all the best for the next cultural evening and I am sure that too will be simply spellbinding.

and the list goes on and on and on and on................................I have learned something from everyone and its just not for the sake of saying but I take pride in the fact that despite being a  BIG batch of 169, I must be knowing not less than 140-150 of you by your name.
 
I would have loved to write about each one of you individually. However, considering the space constraint while writing a mail, I may be pardoned.
 
Before concluding, wish you all the very best in your career, personal space, family and every endeavour you undertake in future. You all will be outstanding in your performance, I have  no doubts about it. And I am confident that you must have benefitted from the training programme.

Respected Madam,
This afternoon I am reminded of a very old saying but which still hold very true  to this day-To meet,to know and then to die is less evil,to meet to know,to part and then to live there,there lies the pain.
Madam, its been a privileged to have been part of the trainees under your supervision,your toughness,the way you carried yourself may sometimes seem difficult to understand,but,in you, we saw a teacher,a guide and one whom we can look up upon.Thank you Madam.
We will miss you.
