Want to installed on Liquid Web hosting

I want to install nadine on my liquid web hosting

which is linux based, but someone told me this is not possible due to ubunto restriction.

my server not based on ubunto, 

is it possible?

Ubuntu isn't required.  My last deploy I switched to Debian actually.  Liquid Web might have their own restrictions on what you could host there though.  You need to control the web server and many of the managed hosting offerings don't allow this.
