Hi everybody.
My name is Nicolas and i am trying to run Nadine on Windows. I don't know if it is possible so i decided to join to the group and ask to you.
in my job asked to me if i could learn a bit about nadine and make it run, thats why i am interested on it. I have readed the documentation, readmes and all the threads on this group but Nadine don't wanna work for me.

I get all the requirements and make the quickstart, but when wanted to migrate using "mange.py migrate" i get this error:

File "C:\nadine\lib\site-packages\cairocffi\__init__.py", line 36, in dlopen
    raise OSError("dlopen() failed to load a library: %s" % ' / '.join(names))
OSError: dlopen() failed to load a library: cairo / cairo-2 / cairo-gobject-2 / cairo.so.2

Could anyone help me with that.

Thank you very much!

Nicolas,

I've never run Nadine on Windows so you'll probably run in to some challenges.  The error looks like you don't have Cairo installed.  On Linux this comes in with the apt commands on the requirements page.  If you are using the ubuntu subsystem on windows, this *should* be the same thing.  Please do keep me posted on you progress as I'd like to know how it runs on Windows.

Out of curiosity, where is your space and how did you hear about Nadine?

Jacob, thanks for the answer.
I have used Ubuntu subsystem and i have installed Cairo with the GTK+ package for windows. Also put the route to Cairo libraries as global variables adding them to PATH, but nothing happens.

I am from Argentina and heared about Nadine from my PM.
