It looks like you “can” use Hostgator to run a Django app as it says on the link below. Issue is it says you need to use SQLite as the database which I wouldn’t advise in production. You could always host the DB elsewhere.

Please keep in mind that while Nadine is “free” you need to understand the level of responsibility that comes from running your own platform. It’s like owning a house vs renting an apartment. You are going to need someone available to help you along the way. This is a good time to find and build that relationship.
