I still remember those 5 in 1 CD days when I saw Oye lucky, Rab ne bana di jodi, ghajni and dasvidaniya during weekend but for me a eight year old kid who's favorite actor was Aamir and SRK it was very strange to keep thinking about a small film called Dasvidaniya... And before watching today I had the feeling this film isn't going to hold up that well but oh man I was so so wrong.. I luv Joseph GL film 50/50 but Dasvidaniya did it better.... That "I luv u" Scene between Vinay Pathak and Neha dhupia is priceless.. A film I'm sure I'm gonna visit again and again just for the simplicity, the beautiful execution and for beautiful memories I had when I saw this for first time... I hope one day people are gonna appreciate this film.
I always go easy on films that are maybe low on execution but has a heart. Dasvidaniya is a film full of Heart. Our protagonist Amar Kaul finds out he has stomach cancer and got three months to live. He then enlists ten real aspirations, and pursues each one with all that he has to make life worth living.
Such a delightful leading performance from Vinay Pathak who literally makes the role his own.Fluctuating between bittersweet,comedic and vulnerability. Vinay Pathak creates an unforgettable character;have not we all at some point in our lives jotted down things we wanted to do but never got the time or chance? Special mention to Saurabh Shukla who plays the foodie boss with elan.Watching him gulp down food was ?.Another underrated gem and i rate this much higher than the bullshit Bucket List.

The beauty of this movie is that i don't think that direction has done any justice to the story and to the actors still this movie is full of heart warming emotions,full of love ,full of positivity and has good illustration how you should live your life,songs from this movie were always my favourite
