 Dear Sir/Madam,

(Attention: JD (IEC) / In-charge /SACS Website Manager/Webmaster)

NACO is in the process of designing & developing E-Resource Centre under the National HIV/AIDS Communication Resource and Support Centre (NHCRSC) to support and strengthen the IEC Division, NACO.  

 

In addition to its other functions related to providing technical support to NACO, the NHCRSC is currently engaged in establishing a web-based information and communication support repository (resource centre) for sharing, collecting and storing of all types of material/ content/ documents developed and used by NACO.

For this the NHCRSC is setting up a Digital Library for NACO that will host all the communication materials, training modules, other important documents developed so far under NACP.

This Digital Library will be an interactive space that will also include creative designs, a database to hold content, a content management system (CMS) to manage and update the library.

As a first step to the start-up process, the NHCRSC will require soft copies of the various materials available with SACS. It will be grateful if the same can be shared with the NHCRSC, to facilitate listing, cataloguing, digitalization and hosting of the materials.

Materials listed under categories like training, guidelines, job aids, use by user services, TI topology-wise, hoardings used for mass media, studies carried out by SACS, all materials developed for DAPCU will be required. In addition, SACS are also  requested to provide any other materials developed or used by them.

 

You are also requested to provide the material in the following formats:

•    Images – jpeg, jpg, gif etc.,

•  Documents – pdf, doc, docx, etc.,

•   Audio  - mp3 etc.,

•   Video – mp4, mpeg, avi, wmv, dat, VOB etc.,

Mr.Yarragorla Sreenu, ICT Officer is the key point person for coordinating this important activity at NHCRSC, NACO.
