Thisis very interesting. Do you happen to know if there is a way to change the resulting week for example. In my company instead of using ISO weeks they have their own which is offset by 1, for example it is week 8 now and not week7. Any way I can make the result show up as w8?

Here I am 30 minutes later after going down the rabbit hole of moment and templater plugin. I was able to solve my case using templater pluging and this is the command I used to make the week show up one more than the ISO weeks.

WW with this command I get this result 2022 WW 08.3 as I desired showing week 8 instead of 7 as per ISO.

I'm new to blender and not sure what the right terminology would be. So please correct me and help me with that too. What I have is a plane with a shape indented into it, which I want to use as a master template to create impressions in the faces of other surfaces on a cube. I'm thinking boolean operation for that but I'm lost on how to create the master die. I was thinking of shrinkwrap it onto a cube but that doesn't produce the positive mold I need for the boolean. I tried a boolean to the cube but didn't get what I wanted either.

With the Revu eXtreme edition (i.e., Revu 20, Revu 2019, etc.) and Revu 21 (i.e., Basics, Core, and Complete), you can import and add interactive stamps from Revu Custom Libraries. Interactive stamps, also known as dynamic stamps, are created with JavaScript and can include buttons, form fields, company logos, dates, and more. When placed on a PDF, you and your colleagues can interact with these stamps and their elements by entering project information and specifying statuses.

While all editions of Revu can edit the appearance of an Interactive Stamp, Revu eXtreme is required to add form fields, edit form fields, and edit the JavaScript of an Interactive Stamp.

There are two ways you can add an interactive stamp in Revu. One way is to create the stamp from scratch using JavaScript. The other is to download and import a stamp template from Revu Custom Libraries. If needed, you can customize the stamp template for your project(s). In this guide, we primarily focus on how to add and edit interactive stamps from an existing template.

The calculation script is a pre-written form field and should not be edited or changed. When a stamp is open for editing, it can be found in the Forms panel under Calculation. The calculation script defines the variables that are referenced in the StampCode. Without an advanced understanding of JavaScript, editing the calculation script could cause your interactive stamp to fail. Do not edit or remove the Calculation field in the stamp.

Every stamp has a stored value called the StampCode. This is the back-end code that represents the visual elements in an interactive stamp. For example, if you want to add any form fields or edit existing ones, this must be done though the StampCode. The StampCode controls what content is displayed in the stamp dialog and interacts directly with the form fields in the stamp.

For all the interactive stamps available via Revu Custom Libraries, the StampCode is organized into two sections: the first half of the StampCode references all the text fields in a stamp, while the second half references a group of radio buttons and a dropdown list.

For multiple stamps available via Revu Custom Libraries, you may notice that a Text Box field is used as a Dropdown List or a List Box form field. Using an actual List Box or Dropdown List field type will be incompatible with any of the calculation scripts embedded in the Bluebeam stamp templates.

I found the cool feature under Data > New from Template to insert a note that has a preset text in it and I made my own note templates. I went to an existing note template in that template folder and opened it (Contextual menu > Show Package Contents) and also discovered the key to have an automated date stamp created in the title of the new note.

I have a custom component that just shows a tarot card. Before the custom element I have defined a template.

In my wc's connectedCallback I attached the template itself to the shadowroot and then stamped it out by cloning it there in the shadowroot as well. I did this for 2 reasons:

The problem this has created is every tarot card component I use on my page has the same template is a child, all with the same id. Since they're in the shadowroot, does it matter? Smells funny though...

My goal is simply trying to understand how the web components specs all fit together. My question is, is there a better way to do this that keeps my component code together and doesn't refer back to an owner doc? Is the template spec mostly incompatible with custom elements since html imports are not being adopted by most browser vendors?

While I agree with @Supersharp's statement that template literal and template should not be used together, I think there is a better way to manage the component's HTML template, somewhat of mix between your approaches.

So far, I have a dynamic stamp template that will do the following:

I place the stamp > a dialog box appears > user inputs information into various text fields > assigns entered information to text fields. The stamp reflects what was input the dialog box once I click ok, however, I want to be able to access the previously input information the next time I try to stamp the same stamp (with the same template).

I notice that once I fill the stamp information out, the template stores the values I entered. However, when I try to stamp again, the dialog box reappears completely empty. I would like the dialog box to reappear with the previously entered values already IN the dialog. Is this possible?

That is - in the same document. Once I've placed the stamp once, I want to be able to reference the information that was previously entered. This is what happens:

If anyone has any insights, they would be very much appreciated. I've thought about a separate object (such as an array) outside of the stamp to then populate the fields, but am having a tough time wrapping my head around that currently.

In order to do that you would need to save the input from the user into a global variable, and then modify the dialog's load function to look for that variable, and if it exists populate the values from it into the fields in the dialog.

Awesome! I'm reading up on global variables and figuring out how they work - if I were to declare global variables outside of my outermost if stamement and then assign those values instead of the oDlg.items (e.g. poMN, ttot - could they be defined as global variables to start and i replace the variables of the same name within the if statement) ?

Last week I posted a blog post about carving stamps out of linoleum or a similar material, like Speedy Carve by Speedball. These rubber stamps are so easy to make once you have a few under your belt. This garden flower stamp set was a perfect beginner project.

I love the idea of stamp sets where you can use them to build pieces of an overall scene. As a garden and plant lover, I knew I wanted to make one for flowers. I knew it would be perfect for spring and I thought my daughter would love it as well!

I got some inspiration from one of my favorite flower drawing books of all time, Botanical Line Drawing by Peggy Dean. I reference this book during a lot of my crafts. Like when I embroidered a collar of flowers around one of my Wiksten Shift Tops.

My favorite way to transfer this template is by taking a pencil and drawing a thick layer of graphite across the backside of the template. Then place the piece of paper onto the rubber and trace around the edges of the flowers, stems, and leaves. This will cause the graphite to rub off onto the rubber.

I like to keep it as one large rubber block and carve all the stamps individually. You can carve away the inside spaces with a larger U shaped blade. The larger block allows you to grip more easily so carving is easier and safer.

I suggest placing stems first, then layering whatever flowers or leaves you want in the foreground or to stand out the most. It is fun to also add a bit of layering, but I found that the first layer of paint does bleed through the second.

Hello all,

I've created several simple custom dynamic stamps on my computer. They stamp the current date and initials, etc. i tried to transfer one stamp to my managers computer, but it didnt show up on his stamp palette. this is what i did.

1) I opened my "user" stamp folder.

2) Extracted just one stamp. each stamp has its own page in the file.

3) Inserted it into his stamp "file" within the stamp folder.

that didnt work so i tried to just add it to the folder so now there are two

files within his stamps folder. that didnt work either.

is there something im missing? ive read the articles that discuss transfering stamps and it seems straight forward, but its not working.

Please advise.

thanks'

Daniel-

The ByKateTM method uses rubber stamps to provide more precision than paper piecing or tracing from a template. The rubber stamp templates have both the cutting line and sewing line for accuracy each and every time. No more marking, measuring, cutting or punching your templates. The By KateTM method makes your life easier. Hand piecing is only a quick back stitch, running stitch and back stitch for each seam (segment). Hand piecing can be picked up and put away at a moments notice and projects fill those time gaps when waiting for something or someone or at home a few stitches can be done quickly.
