Avast Business Hub and AVG Business Cloud Console run the same versions and release in the same cycle, usually every two weeks. Changes to the release cycle can be due to availability, planning, company shutdowns, etc.

For services offered inside the Hub such as Patch Management, Cloud Backup, USB Protection, and PRC, there is no specific release cycle. However, we attempt to release alongside the console releases (if there are some issues, hotfixes will be released outside of the usual two-week cycle). The same applies to the other backend services like DM, Alerts, etc.

This release brings updates to the console registration process, enhancing the user experience and simplifying the procedure for accessing free product trials. Additionally, in our ongoing effort to streamline interactions with our platform, we are removing the option to mute alerts due to its infrequent use. Furthermore, the Web Control feature is consistently being improved.

We are thrilled to introduce the new Business API Gateway, which streamlines integration with external systems. We've also introduced a new option to schedule shutdowns to help reduce interruptions during productive hours. We were also working hard on improving our Web Control feature, which is now in public beta.

We introduced firewall ARP Spoofing and Port Scanning detection alerts. Also, we are continuously working to improve and refine our new Web Control feature, which is currently in beta. Your valuable feedback during this beta phase is essential in helping us enhance this feature for maximum effectiveness.

Our development team has been hard at work behind the scenes, implementing changes that optimize the performance and reliability of Avast Business Hub. These enhancements are aimed at delivering a seamless user experience while maintaining the highest standards of security and functionality. In addition to these enhancements, we've prioritized bug fixes to enhance the overall stability of the platform.

This release is primarily focused on bug fixes related to controlling the firewall, along with minor enhancements for Data Shredder. We have also introduced a new feedback option, encouraging users to provide their valuable feedback, which we highly appreciate.

This release primarily focuses on bug fixes and minor enhancements to improve the overall stability and user experience. It addresses various issues reported by users and includes several performance optimizations. While no major features have been introduced in this update, the aim is to enhance the existing functionality and ensure a smoother and more reliable experience for all users.

Also, to keep administrators informed about service statuses after license expiration, we have introduced aservice expiration banner. If some service has an expired license, the banner will be displayed at service-relatedlocations. The banner provides the message: Service expired and unavailable. If not renewed within 30 days, allrelated settings will be removed. This alert helps ensure administrators are aware of expired services and theconsequences of not renewing them.

So i started to use VirtualBox in windows 10 and i would like to know if those alert from my windows 10 security program (avast antivirus), during my installation/upgrading of TheHarvester program at virtualmachine Kali Linux of VirtualBox will cause any threat or harm to my personal computer? ( I am really concerned about the others getting chance hacking into my pc XD )

Kali Linux contains a ton of malicious tools, so it's expected that antivirus software complains about them. This can happen if it scans the network traffic during upgrade, which is probably the case now, as the upgrade uses plain HTTP connections. Some antivirus software might also scan the disk images of virtual machines. Both may cause problems to or break your Kali installation, so it might be a good idea to add some exceptions.

Despite technically malware, these aren't a security problem per se, but they are powerful tools that may cause problems if you don't use them wisely. You might end up weakening your security if you attack against your host machine.

Screen reader software is designed to navigate through a website and read the web content aloud. A screen reader uses a Text-To-Speech (TTS) engine to translate on-screen information into speech, which can then be heard through earphones or speakers. In addition to speech feedback, screen readers are also capable of providing information in Braille. An external hardware device, known as a refreshable Braille display, is needed for this.

Norton was good 15 years ago, now they should be classified as PUP(potentially unwanted program) ware
I fix so many virus infected systems running their software that I only recommended anything but norton.

i did try it on my second computer its still bloat ware takes up to much ram and its at 5% cpu all the time i downloaded a few viruses that avast would detect and norton didnt do a thing i even scanned the file and nothing so i installed avast and it killed the virus with in seconds and compared to avast which is always at 1% and 12mbs of ram i think i made the right choice

So I restarted my Mac a couple of times, restarted the router, toggled WiFi on and off, checked for any new updates (duh - no internet connection...) and tried a connection via hotspot on my mobile device - but no joy. I even plugged in a LAN cable between my Mac and the router, still nothing.

TBH my antivirus is a hangover from my previous Windows PC and I just installed it because I already had the licence paid for. I am aware that Macs have good security - but didn't know that no viruses operate in the system.

this software has a nice visual aspect which pleases the client very much and has its tools very well, you can install it and leave everything in your hands, it will be in charge of keeping your computer or device free of cybernetic threats

although it is a software of great visual attractiveness at the time of which a person without any knowledge uses it it will be a bit complex, they should improve that part a little so that the softaware is easily manageable by more clients

Commentaires :Client satisfaction of being well protected from attacks, along with the ability of having their data backed-up to the cloud. We have earned the trust of the client that we are invested in protecting their data and helping them run their business so that they can succeed. And if our clients succeed, so do we.

The built in Premium Remote Control is awesome. Also the ability to control the surfing of computers by creating a simple policy and assigning the policy to the computer(s). The alerting feature is great to keep us informed on potential viruses or surfing to unapproved sites and many things in between. I guess there are many things about this software that we have come to appreciate.

Sometimes version upgrades have needed some handholding with the endpoints. That is probably the downside of a portal that is working to keep all the computers protected with not just the most recent virus definitions, but also the most recent Anti Virus engine and client software. We are glad it does do this, but like all changes and upgrades that get installed, sometimes things don't go as planned. In the present climate of the internet, you cannot allow your security software to get behind.

Commentaires :Overall for what the product is it was great. We ended up using funds provided to schools by the state for cybersecurity to upgrade to a NextGen Antivirus though that would be more secure with better detection of newer threats.

Commentaires :I'm gaining peace of mind, knowing (and being able to chdcl) that systems running software. I can set backups also to cloud on certain users and systems, doubling down on internal backup procedures.
