Good morning all. There are a couple things i think we should discuss
this morning.
First is the furniture. I went to purchase the furniture on Friday
night. During checkout, it advised me that it would be available for
pickup on 10/30/2012. As I was under the impression that we were going
to be assembling the furniture Friday night (10/26) and bringing it to
MC on Saturday (10/27), I did not think 10/30 would work.
I spent Sunday calling around to different Lowes stores to see if any
of them had the furniture in stock. They did not. Yesterday I call to
see if it could get delivered to a store earlier, and I was advised
that they cannot guarantee anything.
So where do we go from here? My suggestion is that we simply go to
Office Depot (or similar store) and pick out similar the furniture and
take it home with us... hoping that it will be approved by MC. What
say the group??
Next topic - I would like to make a motion to use a portion of the
funds left over to pay for our spouses / other's dinner for
graduation. Maybe we could discuss this this morning and, if it
passes, bring it to the board for approval. Talk to you all soon.
