*Google Docs with NVDA – Step-by-Step Guide (Browse Mode & Focus Mode)*

Google Docs is fully accessible with NVDA when using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. This guide covers navigation, editing, formatting, file management, and essential keyboard shortcuts.

*1. Open Google Docs*
* Open Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
* Press Ctrl + L to focus the address bar.
* Type docs.google.com and press Enter.
* Sign in with your Google account if required.
* Open an existing document or create a new blank document.

*2. Browse Mode and Focus Mode*
* NVDA + Space – Toggle between Browse Mode and Focus Mode.
* Browse Mode – Use for navigating menus, buttons, links, and page elements.
* Focus Mode – Use for typing, editing, and formatting the document.

*3. Browse Mode Navigation*
* Tab / Shift + Tab – Move between menus, toolbar buttons, and controls.
* Enter or Space – Activate the selected control.
* B – Next button.
* E – Next edit field.
* H – Next heading.
* K – Next link.
* D – Next landmark.
* NVDA + F7 – Elements List (Headings, Links, Form Fields).
