3031 Adeline project preview at Zoning Adjustments Board June 8

I just heard that the 3031 Adeline (Flaco's and the parking lot) proposal on tomorrow's ZAB agenda as a pre-application preview. This is an informal thing, the ZAB can't take any immediate action. Unfortunately I won't be able to go.

The DRC liked the building a lot. This was just a preview so they didn't take any action, just made recommendations. The developer hasn't filed the application, they just paid a fee to get previews from the ZAB and DRC. So the next step is for them to file the application, after that it might go back to the DRC or back to the ZAB, remains to be seen.

The architect said that they plan for significantly more than two affordable units. He didn't give a specific number.

He also said that they've offered Flaco's space and have had multiple inquiries from other businesses interested in the commercial spaces. The plans they showed the DRC had commercial space all along the Adeline side of the building. Plans etc. are here:
