It is everyone's belief that the present management is more receptive to us all. Then instead of always harping on only Grade B, we should actually request for a consistent HR policy that cannot be altered by coming managements but can be amended as per the needs of the environment. The more we speak only about Grade B, we are also limiting ourselves to only this year and preparing ourselves for a predicament later.
Also, we must request that suggestions be invited to the draft and not a final document as it defeats the due procedures set by Bank itself.
I have requested that specialised services be accorded a passage separately without affecting others.
As for complaints about Association not being receptive, how many of us actually participate? They also have an elbow room within which the system operates.
My knowledge and resources being limited, I have placed my requests on the due procedure and not more on Grade B itself. As I feel though one might argue that it is a good policy and addresses us, the ends never justify the means.
I am happy there are colleagues in this group and outside who are working for the larger interest of the Bank and us. Thank you guys...
