JAIIB/CAIIB allowance

Here is a draconian rule.
 
One will not be entitled to get JAIIB/CAIIB allowance if he/she has cleared the same before joining NABARD, untill any one of his/her junior in the merit list ( same batch) clears the exam and gets higher pay. Then only the first person will be entitled for additional allowance on the basis of differential pay.
 
so friends , kindly let us know this vital piece of information. How ever if any RO is providing the facility then plz tell about the latest circular deals with  that.

Dear friends,

This has been the case at my RO as well. it was communicated to one of our colleague that he is not entitled for the JAIIB/CAIIB allowance if done before joining NABARD. After giving the reference of the amended staff rule, he got the the positive reply for JAIIB/CAIIB allowance.

If you refer the staff rule that was circulated to the group, at page no 132, the following is mentioned--

I. Increments, Special Pay etc. for educational etc. qualifications

A. Employees in Group 'A'

(a) Increments for passing CAIIB/CAIB examination
An employee in Group 'A' other than Executive Director, who while in service passes Part I/Part II of CAIIB or CAIB examination will be granted one advance increment for each part of the examination from the date of declaration of the result of the examination. A directly recruited officer who has passed Part I/Part II of CAIIB examination prior to joining the National Bank will similarly be granted advance increment(s) for such qualification from the date of joining.
The grant of increment(s) to an employee for acquiring additional qualification(s) will not change the date of the annual increment in the time scale of pay.



so, please speak to the concerned officer with giving the reference of the staff rule at RO and hope you receive the positive reply.

Can anybody who received one increment on account of JAIIB share any proof of

getting that as in J&K RO the HRMD people are still denying me the increment even

after producing the Staff rule reference.They are asking the copy of the note if anybody received the increment or they advise me to forward the case to HO.

Its frustrating.....3 attempts foiled.....its difficult to claim ur own rights.

Himansu, we have been already given one increment. U show d page no
132 of amended staff rule 2004. They r bound to pay. After jaiib
allowance ur gross will be 31020 excluding housing. Talk to them
seriously.
