Dear Friends

The recent transfer/posting policy is not clear about the transfer w.r.t. 2010 DR.

2008 & 2009 batch DRs got first transfer after 3 years but what about our batch.

I think around 70-80 DRs will suffer from this change in policy.

We need to raise the issue at appropriate levels to get clarity about 2010 DRs fate regarding transfer.

Please discuss and suggest some way.

Policy changes as the high command changes. So, this is only our fate we can say that we could not get transfer this year.

I dont think that any one is going to pay attention to our demand. I am saying this only because you remember the letter we had received while our posting. It was written that this will be Longer posting.

Though we can submit a letter to the respective OICs about our concern for the transfer of only DRs of 2010.

You are absolutely right if go by the letter.......

But what about the letters of 2008 & 2009 batch DRs ??? Is those letters different???

We are not saying that we need some policy change we just want the same treatment which has been enjoyed by earlier 2 batches....

Atleast we may write from our respective ROs to give us parity as given to earlier batches.  By default Our batch people are posted too far places from their native states........ those who are near to their places may feel good but what about those who got posting more than 1000-1200 KMs.

We just are requesting for parity

Hi my dear friends of 2010 batch DRs,

1. First of all, seeing from an overall organisation point of view, the latest Transfer policy is  employee friendly and favourable for majority of the section , with the concepts/principles  of ;

a) Zones (that too truly geographical)  and 5 years of tenure upto Grade C. That means upto Grade C  one can hope to remain in one's own native zone, provided this policy remains same for next 10-15 years.

b) Hardship centre posting reduced to 4 years (Ranchi, Raipur etc) & 3 years (NE), including for DRs.

c) option of 2 tenures as DDMs

d) Grounds for request transfer laid down - joining working spouse (which was earlier 'working spouse in NABARD' specifically), terminal illness, educnl/matrimonial needs of wards etc.

2. However, from our 2010 batch  point of view (majority I feel, who got posting far way from native place and/or in hardship centres), it was contrary to our expectations since 3 years clause removed and converted to 4/ 5 years as per centre.  It is difficult to reach a consensus and give a  representation on behalf of our entire 2010 batch to revise this policy/ give us an option for transfer since a few amongst us has got favourable posting and they wish  to remain there for 2 or more years.  For eg, in my RO ie. Gujarat out of 4 of us, 3 are comfortable with this posting except myself.

3. Action proposed-

In view of the above, I have read Karan Yadav's draft letter (Karan, it was well written & captured major points) and edited accordingly so that those who wish to give representation can submit to HRMD and Chairman through OIC  and Association. Letter attached with.

Let us reach a consensus latest by 7th March 2014 (Friday) & act promptly.

Friends, let us prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Well said by Riyaz..He presented the true pic by saying tht in each RO, out of 2010 DRs, not all r desperate. If u see, in our batch, there r 4 categories:

1st - Who got transfered last yr or before & this policy doesnt effect them. Obviously, they r hardly bothered. In this context, we should appreciate Bhawani. Though he got transfered bt still active for those who will get effected.

2nd - Who r in 4 yrs hardship centres (Ranchi, Raipur, Shimla etc) or those for whom the window will open this yr (NER & Port Blair ). For centres of 4 yrs, its just a matter of 1 more yr. So they r also not so desperate. In this context, Karan's (Ranchi) initiative should be appreciated.

3rd - Those who have strong request ground like joining spouse or medical ground. I know at least 6-7 batchmates who come under this category.They may get their choices based on their requests.

4th - The worst one are those who r 1500 kms (or may be more) away from their home state but do not have any strong ground for request. There r culture, food, language differences in addition to poor connectivity to home town which do not form any ground on paper for transfer. At least, i can put myself, Ompal, Mohanty, Daya, Mangi (may be many more) under this category.

 
This is the time to unite. Dont try to bring 100% consensus over draft of representation. Goal is important, not means here. Try to give representation latest by 7th April as suggested by Riyaz. Well initiative by Bangalore RO DRs of meeting CGM and faxing representation to HO. Let other ROs follow it.

Hope for the best bt be prepared for the worst.
