Hello!
Just wanted to thank Anvitaben and Jyotinbhai for hosting the party. Nischal and I got a chance to meet everyone that Mummy had been talking about for the last few months and actually give faces to these names!
Mummy has had the time of her life and memories to last her a life time! She would come back from rehearsals and be so energized and wired, it was fun to see! I think after the first show, with all the clapping and the realization that she had performed on stage, her face was so dazed, like she was still in a dream!! Taking pictures with Zakir Hussain, all the people that came to meet her post each play, all the pictures that were taken, all the compliments she got, lately, that's all she's been able to talk about! It's such a wonderful experience for her. And it's all thanks to all of you!
Sujit, thanks for giving her a chance and working with her so gently and respectfully. Ranjita and Sharvari, you guys will never know how much we appreciated the rides you gave her, even late at night post a long day of work and then rehearsal when I am sure, all you wanted to do was go home and rest! With two little ones in the house we were more than grateful for your willingness to go out of the way to drop mummy off! I didn't come for as many practices as I would have liked, but I noticed members of the cast doing little things for mummy, warning her that her part was coming up, helping her with getting ready to get out on stage, making sure she had help getting up from the stool in the last scene. Without these thoughtful gestures I am sure the experience would have been very different for her.
She is very keen to be in touch with all of you and keep the magic going! :) So do call, email, drop by, be in touch! We'd all love to see you!
