"Thank you, your questions are very relevant, it seems you are a
serious student of spirituality. I shall answer them in short form,
also providing you a link for online books to read for a better grasp
of the subject.

There are two laws that rule the human, first, the law of cause &
effect (karma) which is totally inflexible, controls the lower three
worlds, up to and including the causal plane (Brahmand) from where
creation starts downward into the astral and physical worlds. This is
from where Avatars come from time to time. The second is the law of
mercy, forgiveness & grace - meant for those souls who having seen the
true reality of this phenomenal world are ready to be taken back to
their true Home (God). This is done thru initiation into Sound & Light
by a Living Master who is Sound personified. A past master cannot do
it - an unlit candle can be lit only by another lit candle. My
experience was of Brahmand. It is also called Self-realization which
is just a half way house, to the ultimate God-Realization. In order to
achieve this, the ONLY way is the SOUND current, for this created the
manifested universe of which we are a part as humans. Riding the same
current, we can go back to our HOME, our true home; this world is not
our true eternal home. The only reason for my being here can be the
fact of my initiation into Sound & Light, a change of jurisdiction
from one law to another. For an initiate, it is only a Master of Sound
& Light, who determines as to when the soul is to be withdrawn from
the body. It is true that Baba never initiated any one into Sound; in
fact, no Avatar ever did since this is not the role assigned to an
Avatar. They come from time to time for mass awakening when the world
is in a state of crisis. A master of Sound is always here for those
souls that are ready to be taken back to God. This is the difference
between the roles of the two though they come from the same ONE
SOURCE. They are both messengers of God & work hand in hand.

WHY SOUND? In the book - Baba is Here - he had described creation thus
- " IN THE BEGINNING WAS SOUND, OUT OF WHICH CAME LIGHT, THAT WENT
FORTH TO CREATE SPACE FOR THE SOUND TO RESOUND IN " This Sound is the
primal vibration of conscious energy that created the universe. When
the ONE became MANY, there was MOTION, which created SOUND. This Sound
is the most potent conscious vibrational energy in the cosmos which is
like a sound box. It is there in every atom, it is the very life
impulse within us all & in every thing around us. This Sound can be
heard by the Inner ear only; the Light can be seen only thru the Inner
eye - the third eye. Our physical ears can hear only those sounds of
this world which are created due to friction - of matter. In the human
body the Sound is already there but the Mind has covered it,
therefore, the connection is weak. Initiation solidifies the
connection, and then thru meditation on this Sound, the connection
keeps getting strengthened.

MIND, WHERE DID IT COME FROM? If every thing was created by Sound,
then this too must have been created by It.!! Therefore, only that
which created the Mind can control it. The five Elements - Ether, Air,
Fire, Water, and Earth - created the world - each one coming out of
the other in successive order. Ether (Akash, Space) is the mother
element. It is in two forms - gross & subtle. Mind is made from a
rarefied form of subtle Ether. This in turn pervades every cell of our
body. It has no power of its own. All power is with the Soul within
which acts like a battery. This activates the mind which then starts
vibrating. These vibrations create ripples that cannot let us perceive
the Soul within.

WHY MEDITATION? 'ATTENTION" is the outward expression of the Soul
within. That is why it is said that we are wherever our Attention is.
This faculty of Attention has the power of the Soul acting thru it.
Whatever we put it upon, it energizes it, raises its vibratory rate.
Thru meditation on the Sound, we start raising its vibratory rate to
the same rate of vibration that the primal vibration of creation (GOD)
has. Thus we become ONE with it. This entire universe is a
manifestation of cosmic, conscious, energy vibrating at different wave
lengths. Om / AUM is the name given to this vibration of Sound at its
lower end, in this world. Different names are ascribed as the journey
upwards progresses. Thus, you will see that it is meditation thru
focusing "Attention" on Sound that shall raise the soul above mind and
matter. Chanting AUM is good, but has its limitations. In a separate
email on AUM, this process is well described.

WHY INITIATION? As described above, a firm connection needs to be made
with the primal vibration of Sound within. At that time, one starts
hearing it for the first time – it is like a new birth for the soul.
The law of Karma no longer applies to the Soul.

MASTER OF SOUND & LIGHT: - As mentioned earlier, one needs a Living
Master. Like all else in this world, for one True master, there are
hundreds others as claimants. This planet of ours is the densest,
darkest planet, for it does not have any light of its own. As and

Surat Shabd Yoga, etc., Please try to read with an open mind to the
extent you can, it is not easy though. This subject is beyond the ken
of the mind which is an obstacle; it is only the soul within that can
respond to this message. The book - Crown of Life - is the most
comprehensive.

PURPOSE OF LIFE: - In a nutshell - " Find ye the kingdom of God FIRST,
and ALL else shall be added unto thee” - The Bible. Again - " Learn
how to die while in the body, so that you do not have to die again ".
This does not refer to physical death, but final release from the
eternal cycle of life, death and suffering.

MIRACLES: - As Baba explained, there are no miracles in nature, it is
merely knowledge of certain laws relating to matter. He never
materialized anything for me, nor did I have any desire for it. After
the initial interviews, he banished me from Parthi, never to return.

ADDENDUM: - The Sound current is eternal, and the true form of the
Master who is Sound personified. Physical bodies shall keep coming and
going. Far better it is to hold on to some thing which is eternal. The
Sound current is God in Expression, Conscious, Omnipresent,
Omniscient, the real Doer power of God, The initiate once connected,
if does his/her part, all else is automatic. This is a direct
connection with God, above the domain of Mind. With God's grace, I did
cross this bridge, but believe me, it was not easy. Where effort
fails, prayer delivers!
