What we’re looking for:

Researchers ready to blend theory and practice in fields like:

• Data Engineering, Data Mining, Machine Learning

• Deep Learning for Vision, NLP & Multimodal Data

• Autonomous Agents, Software Engineering with AI

• Responsible AI & applications across science, health, and society

What you’ll do:

• Conduct impactful research—both independently and in collaboration with others.

• Teach courses in our Master’s in Data Science program, as well as in related undergraduate programs.

• Supervise students across all levels, including undergraduate, Master’s, and our future PhD in AI program.

• Design innovative electives that shape the future of AI education.

• Build strong industry partnerships and lead projects with tangible societal impact.

💰 Salary range (Assistant Professor): CLP$3.4M–4.0M/month (~USD 3,670–4,320 before taxes) + opportunities for project-based supplements

• ✅ Teaching Statement: Reference our Master’s in Data Science courses, plus relevant undergrad courses in Computer Science, Mathematical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. Suggest potential new electives you could create.
