As you may have noticed from the workshop schedule, there will be a
panel discussion from 4-5 pm on the topic of :
"Challenges and Opportunities for Conducting Research and Forming
Collaborations in the Americas"
There are six panelists :

Helena Caseli Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar) - Brazil
Ivandre Paraboni
Universidade de São Paulo (USP) - Brazil
Gabriel Infante-Lopez
Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC) - Argentina
Jorge Antonio Leoni de León
Universidad de Costa Rica
Rebecca Hwa
University of Pittsburgh - USA
The first five will be presenting work earlier in the day at the
workshop, and the sixth (Rebecca Hwa) is the chair of NAACL, and will
be able to share information about NAACL's initiatives in Latin
America, and also solict your feedback on other things that could/
should be done.
Each panelist will make some brief prepared remarks, and we will allow
plenty of time for questions and comments from both the panelists and
members of the audience.
We are looking forward to a lively and interesting discussion!
