Symposium cum Exhibition on the Community Conservation Initiatives in
Orissa from 22nd Nov-24th November 2007 at Exhibition Ground, Unit III,
Bhubaneswar.
Details of the programme are below. Apart from Madhu Sarin whom you might
recall seeing in Village Republics, Ashish Kothari from Kalpavriksh and
Sunita Narain from CSE and Down To Earth are expected to participate. I do
hope some of you will take this opportunity to go for the exhibition and
also view the models of conservation. The website of CCI would be launched
as well during this time. It is a pity that the juniors are not around.
If any of you do visit the exhibition why don't you use the group to share
information and pass the word. The organisers were very keen that RM
students participate in good numbers and contribute and learn from the
experiences of several groups across Orissa and elsewhere.
