A personal appeal form ur old (not very old though) friend.

Most of us admired about "Bakul" and the dedication & perseverance Mr. Sujit showed in making it as a success story.

Here is a small group people  in Ooty who are inspired by the success of Bakul ( Particularly kids' community story book) want to replicate and create a small library for the kids who dont have the access to the library and other formal learning forums.

Lots of things might have come to ur mind while u had visited Bakul "to create a similar library in our locality and many more but we get lost in our busy schedule".

Now the time is ripe to contribute & make one more success story and to get a child to read.

This is a personal appeal.

We (meaning some friends and me) want to start free library for children here at Ooty, mainly for children from poorer sections who don't have access to books and are too scared to enter any library.

We've finally found one room in the middle of the town which serves the immediate purpose at a fairly reasonable rent. Next step is to actually  get it off the ground.

So, a pledge has been created on a web site to spread the word. Anyone who finds this idea interesting and worthwhile and wishes to help and can help in any way, please do sign up.

This pledge needs a lot of helping hands and hearts and they have to be found fast.
