Aloha Sailing Ohana!
This Saturday is our Club Service Day! Come join the fun of tearing down our old, dilapidated lockers and moving our equipment into our new masterpiece of a storage shed! It is beautiful!
Beginning at 9:00am, we will also be doing all our regular monthly maintenance, mowing and weed whacking. Please let me know via email or text if you can bring a weed whacker or mower and help on Saturday, or sign up by clicking the button below.
Additionally, we are asking for help on Friday to get a jump-start on the yardwork. Due to the rain we've been having this month, things have gotten to be a bit of a jungle out there! So any extra hands would be very appreciated.
At 11:30am, we will light the grills. The club will be supplying the hot dogs and hamburgers. Please bring a side dish, drinks, or desserts to share.
After lunch, we will be taking the MYSFTs and Littles out sailing. Keiki of all ages are welcome to join. Parents can join in the fun or go have a mental health day and pick up your keiki at 4:00pm. Coach Rhonda and Coach Diggory will be watching over the kids and helping them to participate in our community service during the day.
On a related note, we are going to be raising Cheers's mast on Sunday at 10:30am!! Please reach out to Coach Rhonda if you'd like to help us re-enact a scene from "Wind"(movie from 1992) and carry the mast down to the harbor. If anyone knows what song they were singing in that part of the movie, please let us know so we can practice singing it before then. Wouldn't want to look foolish, after all!
Mahalo to you all for making our club such a wonderful space! Please feel free email or text any questions or concerns to Coach Rhonda at 808-480-1555 or somla...@gmail.com
See you at the beach :D
