2010. szeptember 20-án délután egy rövid (csupán 2-3 órás), informális TEDxDanubia eseményt szervezünk egy különleges TED esemény, a TEDx program és a Gates Foundation által közösen szervezett TEDxChange köré. A rendezvény házigazdái Melinda Gates és Chris Anderson lesznek és az ENSZ által kitűzött Milleniumi Fejlesztési Célok (Millenium Development Goals) kapcsán, annak 10. évfordulójának alkalmából vonultat fel néhány érdekes és különleges előadót. Az esemény teljesen informális, azokat várjuk egy kötetlen együttlétre és gondolatcserére, akiket érdekel a téma.
A program egy másfél órás élő közvetítésre épít New York-ból, amit közösen nézhetünk meg, s melyhez kapcsolódóan lehetőség nyílik a kötetlen gondolatcserére is. Az eseményen vendégünk lesz Simonyi Gyula, a BOCS alapítvány elnöke és a Milleniumi Fejlesztési Célok szakértője.
Érkezés 16:30-tól. Az élő közvetítés 17:00 órakor kezdődik.

On the afternoon of Monday, September 20th, 2010, a short (2-3-hours), very informal TEDxDanubia event (www.tedxdanubia.com) will take place around a special TED initiative: TEDx and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation have teamed up for a very special TEDx project -- TEDxChange.
TEDxChange marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the eight Millennium Development Goals set out by the UN to tackle global issues such as poverty, child mortality and disease. Convened by Melinda French Gates and featuring talks by some of the world's most inspired thinkers and doers, TEDxChange will look at what changes have taken place in the last decade, and what more needs to be done to ensure the health and well-being of future generations.
The event is based on a 90 minute live webcast from New York and informal conversations. Special guest and expert on the Millenium Development Goals: Gyula Simonyi, President of the BOCS Foundation.
Arrive from 4:30pm. Live webcast will start at 5pm.
