I've got the following error when trying to save n2hell's
preferences:
"type mismatch for downloadRate, expected long, but received String"
The error message appears in a small red box in the top right corner
of the browser window.
How do i solve this?
rtorrent 0.7.9, xmlrpc-c from svn and libtorrent 0.11.9-1. Arch Linux
x86_64.

Hi,
its a n2hell's bug. Verify values download_rate and upload_rate in
rtorrent.rc. Numbers must be without spaces
for example, "download_rate=10" (sure, w/o quotes)

This didn'n help :(
n2hell shows this error even if i tell him that rtorrent is running on
my windows machine locally (in fact i have it running on another
machine over lan).
Clearing cache doesn't help. Tried n2hell 4.1 and 4.2 on Firefox
2.0.0.12 WinXP SP2.

remove folder C:\Documents and Settings\<your user name>\.n2hell
this will resets n2hell to defaults.

I noticed this when trying to connect to different remote torrent
instances on different IP#s. The solution was to keep the ".n2hell"
directory for each foreign instance separate, after saving settings,
and move the .n2hell contents created for a particular server into the
"home" directory before attempting a connection to that server.
