Sorry if this is stupid but I'm new to guitars and was trying to
install an N-Tune (500k pot version) on a Washburn guitar (was a cheap
Vince Neil branded guitar from a department store) I had picked up a
while back. Just have a question about the wiring... (not sure where
everything is suppose to be wired to exactly).
The original:
Wire 1: Black wire comming from the pick-up selector switch which is
soldered to terminal "L" (which is also bent and soldered to the
"chassis case"). There is also a green wire (jumper?) comming from the
end of the black wire and it is soldered to terminal "M"
Wire 2: Yellow wire comming from a tone knob and soldered to both
terminal "R" and the "chassis case".
Wire 3: Black wire comming from somewhere in the middle of the guitar
(underbridge or pickups.. cant tell cause I cant see) which is then
soldered to both terminal "R" and the "chassis case".
I assume:
Wire 1 will goto ????
Wire 2 will goto terminal "R"
Wire 3 will goto terminal "5" with a jumper going to terminal
"L" (instead of terminal "R"/chassis case like it is now?)
I was wondering if I was correct/where do I put Wire #1?
