Indeed, I try to take every precaution to disperse any ESD from my
work area. While I know this is likely an isolated incident I would
still like to know what happened or why, so I know what to look for in
the future.
The cable is not nicked or pinched. The battery is fully charged at
9.21V and the push/pull pot is functioning correctly. Though I know
it's unlikely I'm going to have to fault the circuitry on this one.
