Semi hollow body les paul

Hello;

I own an Epiphone Semi Hollow body Les Paul style guitar; where is the
best place on the guitar to install the battery compartment without
having to take out the pickups out each time to replace a worn
battery; or is it possible to place the battery compartment elsewhere
on the guitar?
