It should have been
soldered to the terminal indicated in the drawing.
I have had nothing but trouble with the red battery
wire. I have 7 of these things, and the red battery wire (or power
wire) is so cheap it does not tolerate much bending. I have notified
Sam at N-tune. Apparently he's still out of town as he has not
responded to any emails sent since he told me he was.
The circuit board is VERY sensitive to static electricity that's in
your body so watch how you handle it. If the lights work I think
your circuit board is ok, so that leads me to believe you have a
signal path issue. Check the signal path, I use the wire that
carries the signal to the output jack.; there is less confusion.. So
go to the o/p jack, find the wire soldered to the tip terminal and
break into the path there.
