For Immediate Release
New Reggae/Rock band debut at House Concert
Davis, CA Local band AIBOT will play a special dance
hall style house concert at N Street Music.
Bringing new life to the N Street Common House comes in the form of a 3
piece band aiming towards deep groves, emotive melody and creative dynamics. Band
leader Toby Seeger was well known for his songwriting and performances with
hard rock sensation Wurkt in the late 90s and early 2000s. A Warner recording artist who recorded with
Josh Abraham, Seeger also moonlighted with Limp Biztkit as a songwriter. Relocated to Northern California, Seeger
became one of the founders of Reggae backup band Ital Souls. This team backed
Reggae legend Shinehead, as well as Rocker-T, T-Rosemond from Haiti and local
Hip/Hop phenom Sky-I. Crossing over
Rock, Hip/Hop, Reggae and Metal became a challenge for Seeger as he continues songwriting
efforts to current day. Working with
Drummer Jeremy Wooning (Sacramento) the pair found immediate chemistry in the
hard slamming rocksteady beats mixed with NüMetal
influences. Mixing in classic Jamaican
Studio 1 Reggae, the pair quickly attracted bassist Tom Phelps (Vacaville), a
fretless protegee with wide influences and skill sets from local bands, to Joy
Division and Led Zepplin. The music is best described as diverse and dynamic
with regard to volume and tempo. Plenty
of hooks, catchy lyrics and fun teases in the songs. From fluid tempo swings to
perfect tempos perhaps make by robots, with a wholesome and rootsy flavor
overall. The sound has caught attention of promoters and has landed an
illustrious opening for Long Beach Dub All Stars at Reggae on the Creek in Winters, CA on May
10. The band said they are looking to
connect with fans and friends while showcasing their new material in a more
intimate environment and welcomes all.
