That is the name of the rough draft of the WOT brochure I just
published. I'm not sure what else to add, it needs sort of a WOT flare
with the theme and such. Any suggestions? You can see this by clicking
files and finding wotbrochure4.pub

Couldn't we have it in an open format, like OpenOffice..?

In any case I cannot read pub files...

Couldn't you be more specific then "clicking files and finding"..?
Where should I look to find the brochure..?

There is a "Files" link on the sidebar to the right on all pages for
the group, which takes you here:

http://groups.google.com/group/mywot/files

The file itself is here:

http://mywot.googlegroups.com/web/Wotbrochure%284%29.pub

This link will take you to a page which links to the file. Depending
on your browser settings you may need to right click the link it gives
you and choose Save as in order to download the file so the browser
doesn't try (and fail) to load it directly.

Thanks for telling me where to find the file.
However, it still don't solve the eesential problem: I can't read the
file!
And no way, I'm NOT going back to MS office suite.
I much prefer OpenOffice (and open source is a potentially really good
idea!!!)

Hey phantazm,

This .pub extension is NOT readable in either Notepad NOR MS Word
2003, so it must not be an ASCII file or .rtf file. Since all I get
when I try to read it is a bunch of machine language symbols, I
suspect it is an extension that is unique to some desktop publishing
software or such. Cooldude . . . can you either convert it to simple
ASCII or .rtf format or tell us what software you used to create it?
Converting would probably be the best option, since most of us are not
going to rush out and buy whatever desktop publishing software you
used (or is there a free version on places like download.com?).

I used microsoft publisher 2007 to make this, and will be converting
it soon. As it turns out however, I just began editing it again. When
I'm finished, I'll convert it
