User with DB corruption

Hi there,

 

Could either Pilot or Rebles contact the user Tester on the myupb forums. He seems to be having database corruption issues every other day.

 

Some of his messages to me:

 

“I just noticed that on "total members" it says that my forum have 61 members, but when I go to Admin > Manage Members, there's actually 63 of them! Could that be the source of the problem?”

 

“Just to explain a bit more: the same database error happens on my forum every 2-3 days, so I must keep backing up the forum every day cause I'm not sure when the problem will strike... I started saving every problematic memo file, in hope that will be of some use sometime...

Tonight the error occured only when watching the forum without logging in, and it was definitely not caused by the user I suspected (he hasn't posted on that subject). When you log in, you can see the whole thread, but when you look that same thread as a guest, the bug stops opening after a few posts.

I think it's worth looking into - it seems like a bug that could potentially destroy myUPB (I for one would never installed it if I only knew about it in time...)”

 

I’ve not been able to replicate the error so I think it might be db related.
