new user - issues and ideas

WOw, overall a great system for playing my Skydrive music. Simple easy, great options.
Will you add other servers? Mediafire? Box?

One major problem for me:

• It will continually revert to the Skydrive authorization page, asking me to click YES. This continues to happen even after I 'exit' the app, it will pop up when I'm doing something else, very distracting and time consuming. I'll then check all my running apps, Mytunes will be one of the top consumers, 20-30 RAM. I installed the official Skydrive app thinking that would help, didn't. Most importantly, need to keep the authorization page from popping up. Secondly, why such a RAM hog?
  

Other than that, pretty good.

• I'd love to batch edit. Say, long press an album to change the artist for all songs, better arranging my library.
  
• Catching my id3 tags was pretty good. Only one album series didn't catch track numbers, but the handy SORT feature fixed that problem mostly.
• Playlist editor is a novel idea, but without multiple select, it's hard for me to use. I'd like to add an album to the playlist editor, then once there, be able to multiple click 17 of the files to delete so I can just keep the 5 I want. Without multiple select, it's time consuming.

Thanks, and if we can fix the main problem above, I'd gladly support this app.

Just tried adding Dropbox account
Put added them here: Apps/MyTunesPro/artist/album/song, but I get:

Music Index Error
Unable to update the music index.

I have Dropbox app installed, I removed the passcode function, but no change.

Skydrive logins expire after 1 hour, so you will be asked to authorize again after one hour. It shouldn't ask you more frequently than that, however, unless you kill the app and restart it. I'll see if I can re-create what you describe.

I agree multi-select in the playlist editor would be useful - I'll see if I can get that in a future update.

My original intent was to add additional services - but I haven't really had many people express interest in using other services, so I decided to focus my efforts on other features. (Google Music seems to be the service most people care about.)

But the Skydrive login page is CONSTANTLY popping up. Worst is, I will have not used the app in a long time, grab my  phone to make a call, but no, the Skydrive login page will pop up, I must back back back to get what I want to do. Only if I stop the app using the manage apps function will the Skydrive login page not frequently appear.

No workaround for that?

Also, any reason why my Dropbox account isn't being recognized?

Sorry for the delay, but I just noticed this post - I haven't tested the Dropbox API for a while. I will do some testing to make sure nothing has changed and report back.

I've tried quite a few players and this one is the only one that almost meets all my requirements (browsing directories, editing metadata, managing playlists, accessible in screen locker, good navigation between UI sections).

I have to say "almost" because of the lack of multiple selection. You can "add-multiple" by adding an album to a playlist, and this is a frequent scenario. But you can't easily trim a list.

So this is a request I whole-heartedly second.
