MyTunes is now "AirTunes Music Player Pro"

Just wanted to let everyone know that the app has been officially renamed "AirTunes Music Player Pro". I have been told that the similarity of the old name, "MyTunes", to commercial apps like "iTunes" was making the app difficult to find in the app store and was a potential source of other issues. Hopefully the new name will cause less confusion.

I've also been asked about the reason for the long hiatus. After Google removed the original app from play store (for reasons never clearly explained), I decided to overhaul many parts of the app before re-releasing it. The Android SDK changes rapidly and much of the code I originally wrote back in 2012 had become outdated. I also wanted to simplify the user interface and make things easier to use. Well, as it often does, life got in the way (family, work, etc), and what seemed like a simple face-lift turned into a complete re-write of the app. Only in the last few months did I actually find the time to polish things up and create the new release.
