Gapless Playback

Hi there,

I just got MyTunes Pro, so far it looks great.

One of the reasons I installed it is the gapless playback functionality. Unlike in (for instance) Winamp, however, there do appear small gaps in between tracks, or more appriopriately, clicks, making the transition not 100% smooth. Is this new to you?

Just wanted to let you know. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 running on Android 4.0.4.

I will re-test the gapless functionality to make sure that the recent updates didn't mess up anything. MyTunes relies on gapless info that is written to the tags by the encoder. Lame and iTunes write this info, but other encoders may not. Thanks for the feedback.

I'm not too familiar with the technical details, but my own rips are MP3-encoded with Lame.

I was thinking that maybe variable bit rate is responsible, since another record I didn't rip myself and so with constant bit rate, did not have these clicks. But that's just guessing.
