Need to delete meeting posted in error

[Town Clerk]

I have an agency that tried to post some meetings for 2016 (and Dec. 9, 2015) using the auto-post and the meetings did not post correctly.  She would like those meeting deleted so she can start over.  How do I delete them?  Thanks.

No, deleting is not allowed (for record-retention reasons). Some other options:

1. Just fix the meetings so they are right;

2. Mark them as cancelled and put a note in the “Agenda” field explaining that they are erroneous postings.

Thanks - now that you say that, it makes sense - I was not thinking about deleting future meetings being a problem from the records retention/open meeting perspective.  I knew meetings in the past could not be deleted but was thinking of future meetings as not being a problem, but it makes sense.  When I read the reply, I said, of course, they cannot be deleted.
