Here is an example of a MyTownGovernment board page which is embedded on another web site:

http://www.barrelibrary.org/library-trustees

To do this, we just created an IFRAME (since the Barre Library site is a google sites-based site, we used an "IFRAME Gadget"), and used the link which is in the fine print at the bottom of the board's page on the mytowngovernment.org web site.

To really make it fit in, we used a couple extra parameters to set the header and link colors to match the site we are embedding in:

?colorHeader=%23RRGGBB&colorLink=%23RRGGBBcolorVisited=%23RRGGBB

Feel free to forward this example to any of your external agencies or local boards which have their own web sites. They can send follow-up questions directly to me.

Looks like google sites retired that “IFRAME” gadget. I’ll let the site admins know they need to update it.
