Video Recorder

Hi,
I am looking for some one, who can develop video recording software under linux, (like a small part of MythTV)
This software/App will have only input from a local analog camera and will show live on screen.
Also there should be a recording option available to user.
recording should be with few details, which user provide.
this is a small work for any expert.
Looking for help !

Zoneminder is a general purpose camera security appliance.  MythZoneminder is just an alternate frontend that ties into their shared memory directly, rather than interfacing with it through its web application.  It can barely be considered "video", as it captures and stores individual frames into individual image files at a highly variable framerate.

On modern machines it's not such a cpu load problem as it used to be.

I am looking for below options only.

1) as soon as software start, it will ask for user name and password. (pre define )

2) after log in, it will show 80% of screen of live video and 20% for user control.

3) live video should be with company logo over lay.

4) then user will click on new recording button and one window will pop up.

5) in that windows, user will enter, Name, Age, Sex, and other info and save it.

6) When required, user will start the recording and when required it will be stoped.

7) recoding will be saved on HDD with the info enter like name, age, sex etc (time stamp)

8) recording should be with overlay logo,

9) recording then can be exported to USB drive and on DVD.

10) Also play back function should be there, user should be able to select Name of person enter and then he should get all the video saved on his name,

11) Recording also can be started with external reset switch, [i will convert this reset switch to foot switch]

12) external switch is required as person using camera will be in operation room and will have his hand busy operating a person.

13) Software will have a small button where it will shutdown PC

14) if possible should run on minimum linux . [as i am thinking of using it on a small laptop]

As this is going to be used in medical care, I wanted some good stable software like mythTV on linux base, or even embedded linux.

As starting embedded project from Zero level will cost more, So I am thinking of using a linux base software on a laptop with customize Linux distro, as minimum required linux will boot and only this software will run.

What's your expected budget to achieve the above?

You couldn't use myth for this without extensive extra code in my opinion.

don't have specific budget in my mind, need to select from offers only.

Actually I really don't know what it will cost.

I think you need to have a budget in mind purely because there are
different ways of doing it that will be time constrained.

To even do a proper specification would likely take 10+ hours and
no-one is going to commit that kind of time to then find out your only
want to spend $2000 total......
