Connection refused - mdd-0.5.1.tgz

Hi,
I ran separated frontend and backend:
FE MythTV Version : v0.24.1-85-ge16613a
BE MythTV Version : v0.24.1-85-ge16613a

I've just installed mdd-0.5.1.tgz. I've got this messages during
installation:
$ perl Build.PL
Checking whether your kit is complete...
Looks good

Checking prerequisites...
Looks good

Checking features:
xosd_support....disabled
- X::Osd is not installed

Does this system serve as a frontend [yn]? y
X::Osd was not found - the alternative XOSD-based OSD will not be
available
Deleting Build
Removed previous script 'Build'

Creating new 'Build' script for 'MDD' version 'v0.5.0'


Then I finished the installation according to the installation notes
in wiki. There is not clear for me, if I need to install anything on
back-end, but most probably it was required for previous version 0.4.


Now, If I press play on any video from Recordings menu I've got
message "Connection to IP_address:6546 refused". I'm connected
directly in my LAN and I don't expect any firewall issue.
Any hint?

I have the same problem.

Anyone have any solutions?
I have reinstalled the whole OS but still no solution

"Connection to IP_address:6546 refused" is probably happening because the network remote control interface has not been enabled. Open the frontend settings -> General -> Check "Enable Network Remote Control interface".
