I was so very delighted with MythDroid in .24 and now sad. I had a slight issue with my machine and decided to do a clean install of mythbuntu 12.04 (hey its close to being done ;) and update to Myth .25 as well. It was a mistake and I should have reinstalled 11.04 and Myth .24. Myth only takes a few minutes to install and set up but there are many things that haven't been updated for Ubuntu yet. So now I don't know whether I have issues with Myth and MDD or Ubuntu 12.04 and MDD or ??

MDD builds OK and runs just fine. No errors in the logs. MythDroid can't find the backend. I have added the IP of the Myth machine and when exiting the set up screen I briefly see the http://192.168.xxx.25:6544/xml and have assumed that the backend changes in .25 are probably the issue.

Thanks for listening.

They are. I'm working on it now, have made good progress and the next release of MythDroid will support MythTV 0.25.

Not sure how long that might take though; time is at a premium at the moment :(.

Many thanks and I look forward to the new version. Any reason you don't put this on the Play store?
I don't know what help I could put forward but willing.
