Play recordings and Videos 'Here"

Hi, I just added a couple of bugs 94 and 95 to the issues database.
Not sure if this is my being stupid or what. So i have two issues:

1. Trying to play a video "Here" gives an error saying that video
cannot be played. From the logs, it is clear that mythdroid is looking
in the wrong place. My videos are in the Videos Storage group that
should be /mnt/public/videos/ but it is looking for the file in
file:///home/mythtv/ Is there an easy way to change this? It is
looking in the correct place because it is finding the files in the
first, but when it goes to play it, it is looking in /home/mythtv/.

2. When trying to play a recording, it is finding the file in the
correct path but vlc is saying "VLC can't recognize the input's
format". It should just be regular mpeg2.

Any thoughts? Details are in the issues but just for completeness
