Anyone using a non-standard backend port on their mythtv backend? (ie
other than 6543)

I think I might have found a workaround to getting 0.24 working with MythBoxee.

I'm on standard port, but more than happy to switch if you need some
testing done.

I'm using .24 with the standard port 6543 and am willing to change to do
some testing if needed.

There won't be any need to change anything. I appreciate the offer by
all of you. The reason I asked I that the part of the code that
detects the port was breaking and was preventing any hope of getting
.24 working. So I set the port manually in the code and got a lot
farther then I had been.

I won't promise to any timeline just yet, but things are looking good
for .24 now.
