Boxee Box endless "Attempting Auto-Discovery"

I'm jealous of other's successes. I bought the Boxee Box to replace
the computer I use for my front end but have not yet been successful
in making it work.

I've been using MythTV for several years using an ArchLinux backend
with multiple capture devices. Currently the back end database is at
version 1254. I could upgrade to the latest but was waiting to hear
when MythBoxee was ready for version 0.24.

I have two other frontends in the house that work properly (a LinHES
system, and a Archlinux workstation.) Before the LinHES I used a
MythUbuntu system, so I know I can stream to across the network.

Any suggestions on how to get past the Auto-Discovery and manually
configure the setup?

When you talk about editing files on the system, I how do you do
that? I was unable to get your telnet software to work.

I have an smb share setup that boxee can browse, so I know that
interface works. I would love to use your program, any help available
would be greatly appreciated.

Post your boxee.log, it shouldn't sit at an endless auto discover.

I was stuck in endless autodiscover, too. I started pushing buttons
and somehow got out of it.
