Filtering mechanism / icon columns

This datagrid is pretty awesome and I'm quite enjoying replacing my
hard-coded datagrids with it. However, I am wondering if anybody has
built the following two items at all:
- A Filtering mechanism that would allow you to, on any column,
specify a set of filter criteria
- Action icons in a column -- this would be instead of the 'toolbar'
but would look similar to something like the checkbox in the row

If nobody has done this yet, I may go ahead and incorporate them
myself but I just thought I would check before venturing onward...

I haven't attempted to do either of the two things you've mentioned,
though I've thought about them for my project myself. If you do
create the code, please share it back here so we can all benefit.

Sounds good....I'll work on putting them in.

For the custom-built data grid we use in the software I work on day-in
and day-out at my job, we have the concept of an 'action icon' and I
think that is what I will focus on first...the filters are a
COMPLICATED concept :)

I've implemented a number of changes on the grid...I've sent them off
to Pablo for future integration into a release of the javascript.

I mainly implemented the ActionIcon and made a few usability
enhancements.
