I know this boat, and that price is at least $10,000 too low.  I would not let Ladybug go for less that $40,000.  Of course, Puffin still has the original Volvo diesel in her, no wheel steering, no dodger, and no Awlgrip.  Still, one of these is hard to find.

Hi All

I heard from Keith a few weeks ago that he was putting Puffin on the market as they were moving up to a larger boat.
(Peter - we met Keith and Vicki at Peter Legnos' business anniversary party)
It started a bit  higher at 22,500 but still my first thought was that it was low.
I've never understood why the Mystics sell for so less than I think they're worth.
They're simply great boats, well designed and built and think they should go for more!

I was considering buying Nutmeg, who was on the hard and Puffin was the first Mystic that I ever stepped onto.
She was then owned  by Mary, Vicki's mom, a captain and very able sailor who was generous enough to take me out for the afternoon.
Even though Puffin sad a different rig than mine it cinched the deal.
Unfortunately Mary passed the following year, and stayed on in the family till now.

Sylvia & Pete,

Looks like Puffin has a ( far forward ) deck stepped wooden mast with a sloop rig. Is that right?

Really opens up the look of the cabin!

Yes, I didn't remember that.
I also can't believe they never changed
that wooden clear for the main sheet.
I never liked it, plus being small I needed more purchase.
A friend who is a model maker carved a beautiful small support that I mounted on the combing ( where the wooden cleat had been) and added a Shaeffer
fiddlle block on it  that gave me a 6:1 purchase...
