4E Conversion Sources

Before too many 4E products are published, whether
by WotC or by anyone else, we may want to consider
delineating which 4E products we would assume that
people wanting to run 4E games in Mystara have. I
would suggest the following lists to start out:

WotC must/should have (conversions may reference):

PHB
DMG
MM
Free non-Dragon articles on WotC site
(include link)

Add to list when published:

Martial Power
Arcane Power
PHB2
MM2
etc.

Non-WotC must/should have (when available):

Advanced Player's Guide
Folio of Fiends
others TBD

Not required (Do not assume that player or DM has
access to any of these):

Dragon magazine articles

H1: Keep on the Shadowfell
H2: Thunderspire Labyrinth
(other adventure modules)

Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting
Forgotten Realms Player's Guide
Eberron Campaign Setting
(other setting specific books)

For the "not required" list, I am suggesting that
you should feel free to state (for example) how
you would fit non-Mystaran classes such as the
swordmage and the artificer into the setting,
but not to convert any established character to
either of these classes (as that conversion
would either give too much information (if
written for somebody who does not have
the "not required" book) or be unusable by
many people in our target audience (if
written for someboy who does have the
"not required" book).
