The annual Sprint Meet hosted by the Prattville Flying Fish is rapidly approaching. This is an exciting, competitive meet with swimmers from across the state. Because this meet is not part of our regular schedule, swimmers have to sign up for this meet with their coach, and there is a charge of $8 per swimmer. If you are interested in swimming, talk to your coach asap! If your team isn't attending, but you would still like to swim, email me at eme...@gmail.com. Entries are due Monday, June 23, but late entries are possible on a limited basis. I will be at the meet and make sure that any unattached swimmers have coaching for the day.
Also, there is usually a swim vendor set up and this is a great opportunity to stock up on swim gear, as well as snack on their awesome concessions! There is a park/playground with lots of shade, and they usually open up the pool for free swim during the break, so its great to bring the whole family.
