Vishal,

this effort was from my classmate in chicago, as I told yesterday,,...

go through it, and let everybody know about it, to drop a mail to PM's
email id, and  cc  to  advani, some other guys and quite active media

Do ot ASAP, as this number of mails will make a mark...

Dear Friends,
We all must have heard about Jan Lokpal Bill. The issue is very clear
that we need a strong anticorruption bill but the question that comes
is the following-- why now?? I am not going to write a long e-mail but
to cut it short the story is the following. In the last G20 summit all
the countries came to a consensus that they will try to get back the
black money to help their growth and in this context they also came to
a consensus that by the next meeting all the participating countries
should have a stringent anticorruption law. Our country also gave
consensus but as we all know we do not have any strong law like that.
We have vigilance department but that can not take any measure other
than suggesting some suggestion, which is upto the government if they
want to listen to it. We have CBI, which is a puppet of Government.
Long story short---- we have a crippled system. Now for this govt
proposed lokpal bill was just another ornament to this crippled
system. The civil society came up with a Jan Lokpal Bill. If you want
to know in detail read this
http://www.indiaagainstcorruption.org/lokpal.html . However,
Government definitely does not want to implement this as this will put
its constituents under the radar. This 1st July the Monsoon session
will start and government is eager to pass their "JOKEPAL" bill but if
we can show that we are behind civil society from every part of the
globe we can do wonder. As a major of solidarity we want to send this
e-mail to the Prime minister (pm...@pmo.nic.in), ccing to LK Advani
(adva...@sansad.nic.in), Some news channels (feed...@ndtv.com,
in...@zeenetwork.com,edi...@ibnlive.comvivek....@timesgroup.com
) and the Civil society (indiaagainstc...@gmail.com,). We
need to send them individually from our e-mail ID with the subject
line as
I (your name) support Jan Lokpal Bill. This is needed otherwise they
may mark our e-mail as spam.
Believe me friends we can do wonder. We have to try. We will never
have this chance again in our lives. We have to stand by ourselves.
God does not make system. We create it and nurture it. We have to
decide what we want for our future generation.

I am copying the e-mail. Please e-mail it ASAP. We need to show our strength.

Dear Dr. Singh,

I am an ordinary Indian. I am really proud to be Indian. I may be
Hindu or Muslim or Sikh or Christian or be from any religion; I may be
living inside or outside India but whatever religion I belong to or
wherever I am my very first identification is I am an Indian. My eyes
start glowing, when I listen that I belong to that country, which MAY
become the global superpower in near future. I feel elated when I hear
respectful dialogues from people around the world about my motherland.
I feel inspired and overjoyed, when I look at the glorious tradition
that I belong to.

But can you please tell me the reason as to why I need to draw my
inspiration from my past only? Why should I be always in the dream of
being part of the most promising country rather than being a part of
the most powerful country in reality? Why should I open the newspaper
and look at scams after scams and feel ashamed to be Indians, who can
not have any voice against these corruptions and be puppets of some
CORRUPT POLITICAL LEADERS WHO ARE PART OF THE GOVERNMENT, which I
elected along with others? Can you please tell me why I can not boast
of being a part of the country, which has the most stringent law
against corruption, which is eating into me everyday? Can you please
answer to all these?

I am really angry today. I can not bear this fake drama of fighting
corruption any more. I, from the bottom of my heart, want to see the
true intention of the government to enact A STRONG JAN LOKPAL BILL. I
support the movement initiated by the civil society and I am
absolutely in favour of enacting their proposition. I do not want to
feel ashamed in front of my next generation by saying that I was one
of maker of the country full of scammers and corrupts.

I hope that you and your government will be wise and sensitive enough
to my emotion and act accordingly. I hope that your action will
definitely make me feel glad to call you as “RESPECTED PRIME MINISTER
OF INDIA” than “Dr. Singh”.

With regards and lots of hopes.
